Klohee

When we adopted our beloved dober-girl, Klohee, from Doberman Rescue of North Carolina, Inc. (www.hope4dobe.org), it was apparent that she was the product of a reputable breeder that started her training and socialization. She was a magnificent specimen of the Doberman breed. However, her previous “owner” had neglected to follow through and/or finish even the basics of obedience. After interviewing four local trainers, I had almost given up on finding someone who could give Klohee and I both the skills and confidence that we were seeking. Finally, we met Danielle Pellicci. I could watch Danielle work dogs all day. She really understands dog psychology and teaches them to work from positive reinforcement. Best of all, her “handler” training skills are awesome! She provides her students (with and without fur) with a structured program. Danielle has a gift for connecting both handler and athlete with activities in which success can be achieved in excellence. Further, she has proven herself worthy to be a professional trainer; her biography and philosophy speak for themselves. Thanks to Danielle, Klohee and I now speak a little German and are on our way to acquiring our first AKC title; hopefully, the first of many!
