"MEAT-BALL" ADOPTED!! "HOT-DOG" ADOPTED!!

and "LAMB-CHOP" ~ ADOPTED!!

These 3 pups were born in a drainage ditch.

Starved, wet, and scared .... mom was no where to be found. We monitored them and left food for a week+ but they were too timid to come to us.

FINALLY, a "break-though" day for two of the pups (the boys ... "Meat-Ball" and "Hot-Dog") finally trusted us enough to come eat from our hands, get petted for the 1st time, and we were able to get a better look at their conditions: Wet, chafed, flea infested, severely mal-nourished, and riddled with ticks and fire ant bites. We made the descision to take them home.

The female was extremely timid and while we were able to pick up the boys right away, it took hours of baiting and a strategic plan that finally allowed us to capture her. The re-uniting of little "Lamb-Chop" with her brothers was an emotional one when they saw eachother again.

They are all sweet and a bit shy. Lamb-Chop is an especially delicate personality. Meat-Ball is the largest and most dominant. They are frightened of many every day "human" things (yet overcome farily quickly) and will need patient owners who can show them the world is not a scary place.

Each no more than 10 lbs. pups (about 3 - 4 months old). Dachshund long bodies, 2 have black speckled tongues. Female is lightest in color. TRUE Heinz 57 variety little dogs.

THEY NEED LOVING HOMES!!!!

"LOUIE" ~ ADOPTED!!

About 4-5 months old; little pup found hiding in a shed in rural, SC.  Sweet and shy - clean in his pen and loves to be near other dogs.

"MISHKEY" ~ ADOPTED!!

About 1 - 2 years of age, Found roadside stray in rural SC.   Mishkey is affectionate/sometimes shy. She walks nice on a leash and is clean and calm in a crate.  She gets along well with other dogs but can be protective of her food bowl... she is NOT aggressive with people (even when it comes to her food). We do not have children or cats - so we are un-sure how she will do in a house with either. Mishkey weighs about 14 lbs.

Skeeter needs a home

"SKEETER" ~ ADOPTED!!
About 5 - 6 months of age, Found roadside stray in rural SC. Skeeter is affectionate/submissive/sometimes slightly shy. He has good Prey and food drive. Gets along great with other dogs.  would be a good agility dog.

Black Lab AKC Pedigree for adoption

 "BELL" ~ ADOPTED!!

About 1 year old. Female - needs to be spayed at adopters expense. AKC pedigree will be furnished.  Raised as a "kennel dog" so will need taining / housebreaking / crate training. Bell was turned away by her owner because she is not a "great" retriever. She is best suited with an active family. Probably not your weekend hunting companion.  This is a referral listing: please contact Chris Bishop: Chris@thegoosepond.com

"MONKEY" ~ ADOPTED!!

This sweet guy was found living in the woods in rural Society Hill SC. He was starving and scared, covered in bugs, and almost Gray his coat was so dirty and matted. A 3 day rescue effort finally landed this "silly monkey" in the hands of Steve and Danielle. Monkey is a bit timid but once he gets to know you he is a very loving soul. Monkey has just started to realize what life can be like as a dog rather than a wild creature. He is gentle and kind and just needs a patient owner who Will help gradually introduce him to life. He has just started to understand what its like to be walked on a leash, play with toys, and eat regular meals. Its fascinating to watch his instinctual behavior undoubtedly a result of living in the wild.

"T-BONE" ~ ADOPTED!!

This poor puppy either wondered or was dumped on the kennel doorsteps. He was found covered in parasites, nearly hairless from mange, injured, and starving. We took months to re-recuperate T-Bone and the effort paid off. T-Bone was adopted to the most loving family and is officially part of the BlackFoot family! He resides in NY with Danielle's sister and her fiance! He gets all the love he can handle and gives all the love he can in return. He is a smart athletic dog who brings smiles to everyone with his repertoire of obedience, tricks, and funny antics.

"PACO" ~ ADOPTED!!

This little puppy and his sister were abandoned in a laundry basket on the side of the road. He was very weak and most likley too young to be taken from his momma. Naturally he found a way into our hearts and within a few weeks of eating good and getting cleaned up...  he was safe and sound with his new family.

"LILLIE" ~ ADOPTED!!

This precious girl was in a kill shelter and was getting close to the end of her stay there. A friend who volunteered at that shelter called Danielle to tell her about this wonderful pure bred beagle with the sweetest disposition ever. Lillie had had her tail amputated for some reason and was very submissive and calm. This lucky little lady is now part of the BlackFoot Family adopted by Steve's Mom. Lillie knows lots of tricks and obedience behaviors now and is truly the queen on the house!
