These 3 pups were born in a drainage ditch.
Starved, wet, and scared .... mom was no where to be found. We monitored them and left food for a week+ but they were too timid to come to us.
FINALLY, a "break-though" day for two of the pups (the boys ... "Meat-Ball" and "Hot-Dog") finally trusted us enough to come eat from our hands, get petted for the 1st time, and we were able to get a better look at their conditions: Wet, chafed, flea infested, severely mal-nourished, and riddled with ticks and fire ant bites. We made the descision to take them home.
The female was extremely timid and while we were able to pick up the boys right away, it took hours of baiting and a strategic plan that finally allowed us to capture her. The re-uniting of little "Lamb-Chop" with her brothers was an emotional one when they saw eachother again.
They are all sweet and a bit shy. Lamb-Chop is an especially delicate personality. Meat-Ball is the largest and most dominant. They are frightened of many every day "human" things (yet overcome farily quickly) and will need patient owners who can show them the world is not a scary place.
Each no more than 10 lbs. pups (about 3 - 4 months old). Dachshund long bodies, 2 have black speckled tongues. Female is lightest in color. TRUE Heinz 57 variety little dogs.
THEY NEED LOVING HOMES!!!!
