"MISHKEY" ~ AVAILABLE TO A LOVING HOME!!!!!!
 
About 1 - 2 years of age, Found roadside stray in rural SC.
Mishkey is affectionate/sometimes slightly shy. She walks nice on a leash and is clean and calm in a crate.
She gets along well with other dogs but can be protective of her food bowl... she is NOT aggressive with people (even when it comes to her food). We do not have children or cats - so we are un-sure how she will do in a house with either. Mishkey weighs about 14 lbs.
Mishkey LOVES to snuggle in the warm sunshine and would be a great companion for any family that likes long walks and has a relaxing atmosphere for her to thrive in. Mishkey will need to be spayed. As of 2/05/2012 she has no adoption fee... as expenses accumulate we will be asking an adoption fee to cover her veterinary costs.
Chihuahua ... possibly "min-pin" mix ??

Martina is a 3 year old spayed Bi-color German Shepherd (Mix?) who needs her happy ending.
Martina’s owner was recently faced with financial hardship and as a result, she and her siblings were turned into the local shelter. Her Golden Retriever "sisters" were rescued and she was left behind.
Martina is an active loving playful girl who will thrive in an energetic household. She is currently in foster care and has been receiving basic obedience training.

About 5 - 6 months of age, Found roadside stray in rural SC. Skeeter is affectionate/submissive/sometimes slightly shy. He has good Prey and food drive. Gets along great with other dogs. would be a good agility dog.
 BELL ~ ADOPTED! ~
About 1 year old. Female - needs to be spayed at adopters expense. AKC pedigree will be furnished
Raised as a "kennel dog" so will need training/housebreaking/crate training. Bell was turned away by her owner because she is not a "great" retriever. She is best suited with an active family. Probably not your weekend hunting companion.

 "MONKEY" ~ ADOPTED! ~
This sweet guy was found living in the woods in rural Society Hill SC. He was starving and scared, covered in bugs, and almost Gray his coat was so dirty and matted. A 3 day rescue effort finally landed this "silly monkey" in the hands of Steve and Danielle. Monkey is a bit timid but once he gets to know you he is a very loving soul. Monkey has just started to realize what life can be like as a dog rather than a wild creature. He is gentle and kind and just needs a patient owner who Will help gradually introduce him to life. He has just started to understand what its like to be walked on a leash, play with toys, and eat regular meals. Its fascinating to watch his instinctual behavior undoubtedly a result of living in the wild.
